Wim Brons was born in 1969 in a small town called Metslawier in the northern part of the Netherlands. They don’t speak Dutch there, but Frisian. That’s a language more close to English then Dutch is.
Following his graduation from Business studies at the Groningen University, Wim found a job at national Dutch Radio 2 and the regional public broadcaster for Omrop Fryslân. He still works there as a presenter and as music director.
Hobbies? Rock and roll!, playing bass (very lousy), wife, kids, home, garden and still: shouting into a microphone in between songs trying to add a little emotion or, speaking more distinctively, give some information.
